INTRODUCTION TO MINDFULNESS

Join our weekly mindfulness group.

Together we will learn:

1 - What is Mindfulness.

2 - The benefits of Mindfulness.

3 - Basic Mindfulness practices that promote relaxation and stress relief which can improve sleep quality.

4 - Cultivating awareness by learning to stay present and focused, which helps to reduce the overwhelming feelings that often come with stress and anxiety.

5 - Dealing with life challenges with a non-judgmental approach to setbacks, allowing to face difficulties from a perspective of acceptance, fostering the ability to bounce back more easily from adversity.

6 - Dealing with interpersonal conflicts in a less reactive and emotionally charged way.

7 - How to incorporate mindfulness in daily life.

8 - Establishing regular practices.

Hi, my name is Viviane Silva, and I’m truly honored to be a part of your recovery journey.

I’m a compassionate and skilled clinical social worker and psychotherapist with extensive experience in supporting individuals struggling with addiction, codependency, and emotional regulation difficulties. I specialize in supporting clients who struggle with a deep need to please others or sacrifice their own happiness and well-being to care for those around them. Many of my clients come to me feeling trapped by patterns of avoiding conflicts, ignoring their own needs and feelings, deflecting from difficult conversations with family and friends, and ultimately harbouring resentment and discontent. It leads to low self-esteem, difficulties with decision making, and a constant need for external approval, recognition and validation. I understand that these patterns can feel painful, and I want to assure you that healing is possible. I will help you to become more confident in communicating your needs and feelings, prioritize yourself, reclaim your sense of self-worth and find stability in your life even if you’ve tried other things that haven’t worked.

By deciding to attend group sessions and commit to the process, you’re setting yourself on a path that will positively impact your future. While the journey ahead may have its challenges, each step you take brings you closer to growth, healing, and regaining control over your life.

Your active involvement in group therapy is key to your success. The more effort you put in, the more you will gain from it. Group therapy is a powerful tool, and by staying engaged and committed to the weekly practices, you help ensure that both you and your peers stay focused, supported, and on the path to recovery.

Hola! I’m Laura, a Mexican who has called Montreal, Quebec, home for the past 25 years. A lifelong seeker of truth, my mission is to nurture love in our world by guiding others on their journey to reconnect with their true essence.

Through my Holistic Coaching and Spiritual Mentorship programs, I have the privilege of working with soulful individuals from around the world. I am a Certified Mindfulness Teacher, having graduated from the Greater Good Science Center (Berkeley). My trauma-informed approach is rooted in deep, authentic personal transformation, with heart-centered awakening at its core. As a multidisciplinary practitioner, I integrate various healing modalities into my work, including Reiki Mastery, ThetaHealing®, Conscious Breathwork, and Mind Rebel® Coaching.

During my teenage and young adult years, I experienced prolonged periods of sadness and depression. It was in those challenging times, that meditation became my anchor, guiding me through darkness while cultivating compassion and loving awareness. For the past decade, I have had the privilege of supporting others as they navigate their own emotional landscapes, helping them reconnect with their highest truths. Together, we choose love over fear—again and again.

It would be my honor to walk this path with you.
