In this 4-week Introductory course to Mindfulness, you will be introduced to the foundational principles and practices that will help you to cultivate a mindful approach to life. This course will teach you techniques to direct and sustain your attention, improving focus and reducing distractions, develop the ability to be fully present in the moment, letting go of past regrets and future worries, cultivate an awareness of thoughts, feelings, and sensations without the need to change or judge them.
Important Note:
This course does not replace therapy aimed at processing deeper emotional pain or trauma. While distress tolerance strategies are valuable tools for managing short-term emotional reactions and improving your response to difficult situations, deeper emotional processing may require ongoing therapy or counseling.
In this 4-week course on Distress Tolerance, you will learn practical skills and strategies to help you navigate difficult, unexpected, or painful situations. Life often presents challenges that can shake us emotionally, and this course is designed to provide tools that empower you to manage those moments with resilience and calmness. IN this course you will learn skills to respond to life’s challenges in a way that minimizes emotional suffering and promotes emotional strength, discover strategies to cope with intense emotions and distress without trying to avoid or escape them, understand that pain and discomfort are a part of life and develop a healthier way to approach these experiences without letting them overwhelm you.
This 4-week Introductory Course to Interpersonal Effectiveness will teach you valuable skills to build and maintain healthy, positive relationships with both yourself and others. Drawing from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), this course focuses on enhancing your ability to communicate assertively, set boundaries, and express your needs effectively. This course will teach you to create and sustain healthy relationships by improving communication and managing interpersonal dynamics, develop the ability to establish clear, respectful boundaries with others, and protect your well-being without feeling guilty, learn to express your thoughts, feelings, and needs clearly and respectfully, without aggression or passivity.
This 4-week course on Emotional Awareness and Regulation is designed to help you better understand and manage your emotions. You will learn how to identify and name your emotions, recognize triggers that lead to intense emotional reactions, and develop strategies to reduce emotional reactivity. The course will also focus on fostering positive emotions and minimizing emotional pain.
